OUR COMMUNITY
The Dalby Leagues Club is proud to be involved in the sporting community and in particular as a supporter of local charities and not for profit organisations. A share of the gaming revenue from Dalby Club is set aside to financially assist our community.
Thank You for an Incredible International Women’s Day!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate International Women’s Day. With over 90 attendees, your presence and generosity helped us raise much-needed funds for the RUBY programme, which empowers women impacted by domestic and family violence to rebuild their strength and resilience.
A special thank you to our inspiring guest speakers for sharing their wisdom and stories, reminding us of the power of support, awareness, and action in breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the Dalby Leagues Club Bingo community for their generous $1,000 contribution. We raised $1050 in raffles sales with generous raffle prize donations from: Dalby Handyman Services, By Bridgette, Hair @ Dalby, Hedges Sports Store, Max & Betty Dalby, and Dalby WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods. The Brisbane Broncos generously donated a jersey signed by the Broncos women's team as one of the raffle prizes.
Dalby Leagues Club have donated $2,000 toward this vital cause; raising a total of $4050.
This year’s theme highlighted the urgent need to stand together, support survivors, and drive meaningful change. Every conversation, every donation, and every show of solidarity matters.
Together, we are stronger!
Community Cuddle: Keeping Dalby Warm
Winter can be tough, and for some in our community, it’s a choice between warmth or a meal. No one should have to make that choice. That’s why we’ve launched Community Cuddle, a Dalby Leagues Club initiative, partnering with Helping Hands Dalby to ensure all donations stay local and help those who need it most. We’re collecting blankets, jumpers, jackets, beanies, gloves, scarves; anything to keep someone warm this winter. If you can help, drop your donations at reception. Every little bit makes a big difference. Thank you, Dalby!
The Dalby Leagues Club is a collection point for 'Share the Dignity' in their March 2025 Dignity Drive.
Share the Dignity is a women's charity in Australia, that works to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to women, girls, and anyone who menstruates, who needs support.
Our collection point is located at reception - we appreciate all contributions!

Dalby Leagues Club are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Southern Boars Police Rugby League Team for 2025!
The Southern Boars are more than just a rugby league team; they’re a proud group of Queensland Police Officers, Police Liaison Officers, and administrative staff from stations spanning South West Queensland. From Ipswich to the South Australian border and as far north as Longreach, they unite under one banner, embodying teamwork, fitness, and a strong connection with the communities they serve.
We were lucky to welcome some of the Southern Boars and the Country Thunder women’s team based right here in Dalby, as they stopped by for a visit. It’s always inspiring to see the dedication and spirit these teams bring to both the field and their roles in the community.
We’re proud to stand behind them as they gear up for another incredible season. Let’s cheer them on together as they represent our region with pride and determination!
We were thrilled to give our first haul of hamper items to Helping Hands Outreach Project for Dalby Inc , who will be distributing these essential supplies to those in need this Christmas. A big thank you to our incredible local community for their generosity! Your contributions are making a real difference and helping us put smiles on faces this festive season.
Please keep those donations coming; together, we can continue to spread joy and warmth throughout the community!
International Women's Day, we didn't just celebrate – we took action! We hosted a raffle to support a cause that resonates with our hearts: RUBY (Rise Up, Be Yourself).
RUBY is more than just a group fitness program. It's a sanctuary offered at various PCYCs across Queensland, designed to empower women. Through physical strength training and exercise, RUBY nurtures not only the body but also the spirit, fostering emotional resilience, self-esteem, and confidence in a violence-free and safe environment.
Thanks to your incredible support through raffle sales and a generous donation from the Dalby Leagues Club, we have raised $1000 for this incredible program!

Rugby Leagues Players across Queensland Police Service men’s and women’s team joined The Dalby Leagues Club for breakfast. They were honoured to represent the QPS in the Frank Fisher Cup reconciliation and memorial event in Chinchilla. Spoken by Jake Carl “more than just a game” The Frank Fisher Cup gives the police and community an opportunity to rebuild their relationship and creates connection through the love of footy.
The two teams played for their two fallen colleagues, Constable Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold.
The Dalby Leagues Club became aware that Ningana didn’t have a defibrillator and as part of our contribution to the community we felt it appropriate we purchased to show our commitment to the Dalby Community. It was our pleasure to donate the defibrillator to such a wonderful community group.
