OUR COMMUNITY

The Dalby Leagues Club is proud to be involved in the sporting community and in particular as a supporter of local charities and not for profit organisations. A share of the gaming revenue from Dalby Club is set aside to financially assist our community.

The Dalby Leagues Club has partnered with the Lifeline Darling Downs & South West QLD Ltd for their 'Share The Warmth' Appeal.

Hundreds of households are feeling the strain as energy, transportation, and housing prices climb. During the harsh winter months, some families may be unable to have a roof over their heads, and many more will be unable to remain warm. Unfortunately, families are sometimes forced to choose between eating and keeping their houses warm. Those families and individuals facing financial difficulties and circumstances beyond their control are more likely to develop health issues and become homeless if they do not obtain support. But together we can make a difference.

We are looking to our community to assist by providing blankets, jumpers, jackets, beanies, gloves, scarves, and any other warm gear to help those in need this winter.

Our collection point is located at reception if you wish to donate.

We appreciate all contributions.

This International Women's Day, we didn't just celebrate – we took action! We hosted a raffle to support a cause that resonates with our hearts: RUBY (Rise Up, Be Yourself).

RUBY is more than just a group fitness program. It's a sanctuary offered at various PCYCs across Queensland, designed to empower women. Through physical strength training and exercise, RUBY nurtures not only the body but also the spirit, fostering emotional resilience, self-esteem, and confidence in a violence-free and safe environment.

Thanks to your incredible support through raffle sales and a generous donation from the Dalby Leagues Club, we have raised $1000 for this incredible program!

The Dalby Leagues Club partnered with the Dalby Salvation Army for our Christmas Hamper Appeal. We collected over $2000 worth of non perishable food items for those in need during the festive season.

The Dalby Leagues Club served over 130 meals to those needing a hand in Dalby. Dishes on offer were lasagne which was donated by our supplier MOCO Food Services, Chef Koes’ amazing spaghetti bolognese, house made cheeseburgers and marinated chicken wings warmed the spot!

We thank Dalby Circles of Care for the opportunity to be part of this wonderful initiative.

Rugby Leagues Players across Queensland Police Service men’s and women’s team joined The Dalby Leagues Club for breakfast. They were honoured to represent the QPS in the Frank Fisher Cup reconciliation and memorial event in Chinchilla. Spoken by Jake Carl “more than just a game” The Frank Fisher Cup gives the police and community an opportunity to rebuild their relationship and creates connection through the love of footy.

The two teams played for their two fallen colleagues, Constable Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold.

The Dalby Leagues Club became aware that Ningana didn’t have a defibrillator and as part of our contribution to the community we felt it appropriate we purchased to show our commitment to the Dalby Community. It was our pleasure to donate the defibrillator to such a wonderful community group.
