BRONCOS DALBY SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Broncos Dalby School Development Program offers students a unique opportunity to engage with the development team through two one-hour sessions. The first session, characterised by open dialogue and reflection, focuses on essential topics such as personal branding, core values, and the significance of academic diligence. During this session, students are encouraged to contemplate their individual brand identity, values, and the importance of hard work both in school and in their personal lives. Through introspection and discussion, participants gain insights into their behaviours and interactions with others, fostering a deeper understanding of personal responsibility and interpersonal relationships. The impactful nature of these discussions resonates deeply with students, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives and communities.

In the second session, students engage in a series of Rugby League based games designed to promote active participation and physical fitness. These activities not only adhere to the health and physical education policy within schools but also instil lifelong habits of regular physical activity. While the games are rooted in Rugby League skills, they are thoughtfully modified to ensure inclusivity and accommodate students of all abilities. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, students have the opportunity to develop teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship skills while enjoying the benefits of physical exercise. Through these engaging and dynamic activities, students not only improve their physical health but also cultivate a love for sports and active living that will stay with them throughout their lives.
