Dalby Leagues Club renew partnership with the Brisbane Broncos

Dalby Leagues Club Chairman Michael Webber said The Dalby Leagues Club were proud to announce a new three year partnership with the Brisbane Broncos this week.

“Our Program with the Brisbane Broncos allows us to bring former NRL player and Dalby local junior, Darren Burns into the region on a regular basis to provide ‘best practice’ grassroots support to our local community. This is more than just a Rugby League program, it is a mentoring and life skill initiative in local schools along with the coaching programs for our players and coaches.  Darren and the Broncos Game Development team along with the support of current players and staff will continue to support our region for the next three years.”

“This is the fourth year of an agreement the Dalby Leagues Club has had with the Brisbane Broncos’ as a Game Development Partner and we are particularly excited to continue bringing the clubs expertise and role modelling for our many coaches, players and the local community”,  Mr Webber said.

Broncos Game Development Manager Paul Dyer said he was looking forward to what the renewed partnership could do for the Dalby region,

“Dalby is synonymous for producing some wonderful rugby league players, including current Broncos hooker Andrew McCullough, who called this area home when he launched his career,” Mr Dyer said.

“The Brisbane Broncos values our regional Game Development partnership with the Dalby Leagues Club, as it provides us with the opportunity to mentor and develop many of the local junior players and coaches but also conduct other life skill and mentoring initiatives across the region in both schools an

d the local junior and senior clubs.”
